MANSFIELD MEANS MUSIC

For more than a century, Mansfield has been one of Pennsylvania's most respected music programs—and it is now facing retrenchment that would eliminate specialist instruction in strings, woodwinds, percussion, and voice. The department operates on a conservatory model built on master-apprentice mentorship with artist-teachers. Without it, NASM accreditation collapses, PDE certification for music educators ends, and the program cannot survive.
